Ingredients:
- One whole sweet onion
- salt
Cooking steps
- Peel off the outer skin and dry layers
- Slice the onion in half than thinly slice the halves
- Pre-heat the pan and cooking oil (peanut oil will do fine)
- Throw the sliced onions into the hot frying pan
- Fry till the slices turn golden brown but not dry
- Turn the fire off
- Sprinkle some salt (according to preference) into the cooked onion slices
- Mix the onion and salt well...
- Done
A simple side dish that goes well in fried eggs, beef, chicken etc.
