No. 006 Egg Dip


  1. hard Boil 3-4 Chicken Eggs
  2. Peel the hard boiled eggs
  3. use a fork to mash the eggs
  4. add 2-4 table spoons of Mayonnaise 
  5. mix together
  6. (optional) sprinkle a pinch of pepper and 3-8 drops of soya sauce.
  7. (optional) throw in Bacon bits
  8. Ready to be eaten with bread, mission wraps, roti-prata, plain biscuits. Etc.

No.005 Fried tuna with egg

Ingredients:

  1. 1 can Tuna in Brine
  2. 2-4 eggs
  3. 1 sweet onion bulb
  4. Pepper
  5. Soya sauce
Preparation steps:
  1. Open up tuna and separate brine from the Tuna chucks
  2. Use a fork to break the tuna chunks into smaller pieces
  3. Slice the onion thinly than throw into salt water
  4. Crack the eggs and mix together with some soya sauce (amount of sauce depends on preference)
  5. sprinkle some pepper into the egg mixture
Cooking steps:
  1. Preheat the frying Pan with some oil
  2. Stir fry the onion slices till brown ( refer to No. 001 Pan Fried Onion recipe for more details)
  3. Empty the cooked onions into the egg mixture
  4. Next fry the tuna for around 1-2 mins 
  5. Empty the tuna into the egg and onion mixture
  6. Beat the egg mixture till ingredients are thoroughly mixed
  7. Empty egg mixture into the pan and fry till cooked
  8. The dish is done

No.004 Button Mushroom and Garlic

Ingredients:
  1. Button Mushroom/ Shiitake mushroom/ Portobello mushroom (either type)
  2. 1 clove of garlic
  3. Soya Sauce
Preparation steps:
  1. Gently wash the mushrooms in salt water
  2. Slice the mushrooms  and rinse
  3. Chop the garlic till it becomes a fine paste
Cooking steps:

  1. Poor a little cooking oil into the frying pan and heat till hot
  2. stir fry the garlic till golden brown
  3. throw in the mushrooms and cover
  4. Leave covered till mushroom juicy comes out than add a pinch of salt and 1-2 teaspoons of soya sauce ( depending on preference) 
  5. Done 

No.003 Pumpkin and Onion fry

Ingredients:

  1. half a (butternut or normal pumpkin)
  2. 1 clove of garlic
  3. half a sweet onion
  4. Soya Sauce
  5. salt
Preparation steps: 
  1. Peel the pumpkin and dice into smaller pieces
  2. Slice the sweet onion thinly
  3. Mince the garlic up. (till it becomes somewhat a paste)
Frying steps:
  1. Add some cooking oil into a pan and heat till hot
  2. Throw in minced garlic and fry till small pieces of garlic turn golden brown
  3. Throw in the onion slice and till semi-cooked
  4. Throw in the pumpkin pieces and fry together with onion and garlic (cover the pan at this point.
  5. Check the pumpkin once in a which...
  6. Once the pumpkin has cooked, add a pinch of salt and soya sauce for seasoning (season to taste)
  7. Done
Note: Pumpkin and Onion fry goes very well together

No.002 Apple Cider Beef

Ingredients: 

  1. Thin slices of beef
  2. Apple cider
  3. Soya sauce 
  4. Garlic  powder
  5. Onion powder
  6. Honey optional

Preparing the marinate
  1. Pour enough apple cider to cover at least 3/4 of the beef 
  2. Sprinkle garlic powder around 2-4 dashes
  3. Add in 1 tbs. of soya sauce
  4. Add half or one teaspoon of honey to give a little sweetness to the sauce.

Mix the sauce and garlic thoroughly.
Soak the beef slices in the apple cider for around 10-15 min.

Note: It depends how intense you want the apple cider smell to be
Optional: before frying, you can role the beef slice into a role of ball to ensure outside is cook while inside remains juicy

The beef can then be shallow fried or deep fried...
Best eaten with pan fried onions



No. 001 Pan Fried Onions


Ingredients:
  1. One whole sweet onion
  2. salt

Cooking steps
  1. Peel off the outer skin and dry layers
  2. Slice the onion in half than thinly slice the halves
  3. Pre-heat the pan and cooking oil (peanut oil will do fine)
  4. Throw the sliced onions into the hot frying pan 
  5. Fry till the slices turn golden brown but not dry
  6. Turn the fire off
  7. Sprinkle some salt  (according to preference) into the cooked onion slices
  8. Mix the onion and salt well...
  9. Done
A simple side dish that goes well in fried eggs, beef, chicken etc.
